After a six-year absence from the airwaves, Ciku Muiruri is making a triumphant return to radio. The popular media personality announced her comeback on her social media channels, teasing her fans with a hint of which station she would be presenting on.
"I'm back on RADIO this week!!! From Monday, 24th August, 2020. Can you guess which station I'll be presenting on? First correct 20 answers get a FREE copy of my book (Love is But a Dream)," she announced.
Her comeback comes just a week after she launched a counseling service, offering Sh. 5,000 per call sessions targeted at men.
Ciku Muiruri's radio journey began at Capital FM and EasyFM (now Nation FM), where she launched the hit show Busted. The show later moved to Classic 105, where it gained a massive following and criticism. She left Classic 105 on December 25, 2013, citing a desire for a bigger challenge.
Reflecting on her 15-year radio career, Ciku Muiruri posted on November 28, 2013: "My dear, dear friends … I have been on this radio journey for an amazing 15 years. Capital FM, Kiss 100, Easyfm and now Classic 105. What a ride!!!! I'm so thankful for the laughs, the tears, the lessons, the amazing people I have spoken to and the amazing people I have met."
