Vincent De Brouwer Steps Down as I&M Regional Director

On July 31, 2020, Vincent De Brouwer stepped down as the regional director of I&M Holdings, a position he had held for less than a year. In a statement, I&M confirmed that De Brouwer had also resigned as a member of the board of directors.

De Brouwer's tenure as regional director was marked by significant growth for the company. I&M Holdings recorded a 27 percent increase in net earnings to Ksh10.8 billion for the financial year ending December 31, 2019. The group operates in several countries, including Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, and Mauritius.

De Brouwer, who holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Bsc. in Applied Science from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, was appointed to the regional director's position in November 2019. The creation of this position aimed to enhance I&M's brand visibility across its core markets.
