On Friday night, a 28-year-old man, Kevin Omwenga, was fatally shot in his house in Kilimani area. The incident has sparked a chain of events, with the suspects, Robert Ouko and Chris Okeyo Obure, expected in court to face various charges.

According to police, the killer weapon belongs to Obure, who had previously been involved in a gun drama at B Club in the city in 2019. The weapon had been confiscated and handed over to the firearms licensing board, but it is unclear how Obure obtained it again.

Focus now turns to the board over the weapon, raising questions about how it was possible for Obure to regain possession of the firearm.

Tears flowed freely as friends and family members, including Ken and Dennis Oliech, viewed Omwenga's body.
