As a woman, there's one thing that can instantly make me feel like my relationship is in trouble: being called by my real name. It's not just about the name itself, but the way it's said that can make all the difference.

For me, if my partner calls me 'Beryl', I start imagining that they're cheating on me. It's not rational, I know, but it's just how my mind works. And it's not just me - I've seen many women out there who feel the same way.

On the other hand, when my ex-boyfriend used to call me 'A girl toto', my anger would instantly subside. It was like a magic word that could calm me down and make me forget about any disagreements we had.

But it's not just about the names themselves - it's about the way they're used. When someone uses a sweet name, it's like they're speaking directly to your heart. It's a way of showing affection and care, and it can make all the difference in a relationship.

Of course, there are times when using a real name is necessary - especially in serious conversations that may lead to conflict. But even then, it's the way the name is said that can make all the difference. A sweet pronunciation can turn a difficult conversation into a gentle one.

So, to all the men out there, I have one request: call me 'Baby' even when we disagree. Is that really too much to ask?
