Renowned Tanzanian gospel singer Rose Muhando has made a triumphant return to her home country after a prolonged stay in Kenya, where she was hospitalized and underwent an intercessory prayer session at Neno Evangelism Centre in Nairobi.
According to Muhando, the prayer session, which took place in 2019, was not staged, but rather a culmination of a series of prophesied events. The singer explained that a prophecy made years before she departed from Tanzania in fear of her life, outlined four stages of her 'dark days in the wilderness', which came to pass.
Speaking to Wasafi TV's 'Sunday Worship' on August 23, 2020, Muhando revealed that a preacher had foretold her of four hard things she would have to wade through, with the last one being the most challenging. However, she added that Pastor James Ng'ang'a, the founder of Neno Evangelism Centre, was on beat as the last prophecy pulsated through.
She recalled that Pastor Ng'ang'a had prayed for her, saying he had a prophecy from God and that he should pray for her because she was going through a tough, rough patch. Muhando also revealed that she had been told she must die 10 days earlier, but after the prayer session, she regained consciousness in the hospital and was able to see Solomon Mkubwa, among others, crying.
Clearing the air regarding Muhando's situation, Pastor Ng'ang'a's secretary stated that the pastor simply prayed for her and insisted that he was not exorcising demons. The secretary added that Muhando was unwell and requested spiritual healing from Pastor Ng'ang'a, which he facilitated.
