Covid-19 Cases Rise to 32,364 in Kenya

On August 23, 2020, Kenya recorded 246 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of cases to 32,364.

According to the Ministry of Health, 157 of the new cases were males, while 89 were females. The youngest case was a one-year-old infant, and the oldest was 87 years old.

During the same period, 4,179 samples were tested, bringing the total number of samples tested to 421,983.

Regrettably, six patients succumbed to the disease, increasing the total death toll to 548.

However, 217 patients were discharged from hospital, bringing the total recoveries to 18,670.
