On August 24th, 1950, Ida Odinga was born. Seventy years later, she celebrated her milestone birthday in a private party that drew big names in Kenya's political sphere.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, guests at the party, including Jubilee chairman David Murathe and Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, seemed to disregard social distancing and mask-wearing protocols.
Photos from the event show a glamorous reception with amazing decorations, hosted by Raila and Ida Odinga.
