Businessman Kevin Omwenga Shot in Kilimani Apartment

On Saturday morning, a fatal shooting occurred at the Galana suites apartment in Kilimani, Nairobi, leaving a 28-year-old businessman, Kevin Omwenga, critically injured.

According to sources, Omwenga was shot in the chest, and his body was later moved to Montezuma funeral home.

As part of the ongoing investigation, DCI officers have arrested two businessmen, Chris Obure and Robert Ouko.

Police recovered a mini Ceska firearm with 13 rounds of ammunition suspected to have been used in the fatal shooting. A statement on the DCI's official page reads:

"Detectives based at Kilimani have this morning arrested Robert Bodo and recovered a mini Ceska firearm with 13 rounds of ammunition suspected to have been used in the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man at Galana suites in Kilimani. The firearm, which has been kept as an exhibit, will be subjected to ballistic analysis as further investigations ensue to unravel the motive of the shooting,"
