On Saturday morning, the DCI arrested Robert Ouko Bodo, a businessman who gained fame after his relationship with Saumu Mbuvi was publicized on social media.
According to a statement from the DCI, detectives based at Kilimani arrested Robert Bodo and recovered a Mini Ceska firearm with 13 rounds of ammunition suspected to have been used in the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man at Galana Suites in Kilimani.
The firearm has been kept as an exhibit and will be subjected to ballistic analysis as further investigations ensue to unravel the motive of the shooting.
Additionally, sources indicate that businessman Chris Obure was also arrested.
