On Thursday, August 20, Karen Hospital marked a significant milestone with the unveiling of its new CEO, Juliet Gikonyo Nyaga. The ceremony, attended by Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju and other industry stakeholders, marked the transition of leadership from the founding generation to the next.

Juliet, the daughter of hospital founders Dan and Betty Gikonyo, has served as the executive director of the Karen Hospital Medical and Training College. In her maiden speech, she expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and grow the hospital's legacy.

As the new CEO, Juliet has outlined her vision to rejuvenate the energy in her team and stakeholders, working together towards a renewed vision. She also thanked her parents for moulding her into the leader who would take the hospital to the next level of growth.

Under Juliet's leadership, the hospital aims to embrace youth and develop their skills to become future leaders in their fields. This marks a significant shift in the hospital's approach, as it looks to the next generation of leaders to drive its growth.

Juliet's appointment comes after 15 years of leadership under Betty Gikonyo, who has been instrumental in shaping the hospital's growth into one of the biggest private hospitals in the country.
