Published on August 21, 2020, Safaricom has announced a full day service upgrade starting tomorrow at 5pm and going all the way through Sunday 23rd August at 5pm.
During this period, several services will be affected, including the activation of new SIM cards, swapping of SIMs, obtaining PUK codes, and tariff migration.
However, other services such as M-Pesa, calls, data, and SMS will not be affected.
The service upgrade is scheduled to take place from 5pm on Friday to 5pm on Sunday, August 23rd.
