On a recent tour of Konza Technopolis, the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and Enterprise Development delegation was impressed by the level of infrastructural development achieved so far.

According to CS Betty Maina, the SME Park and Light Manufacturing Centre will serve as an incubation centre for enterprises, promoting upscaling and standardization of products through reduction of supply chains, mechanization, consolidation, co-location, and common use facilities.

During the tour, the delegation visited key establishments including the authority's headquarters, the ongoing water re-use facility, and the concluded Phase 1 National Data Center.

Eng. John Tanui, CEO of Konza Technopolis Development Authority, expressed his gratitude for the continued cooperation between the various arms of government, citing the support from the Ministry of Education and Infrastructure.

He emphasized that the government is committed to delivering the project to the people of Kenya, as evident in the recent visit from the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and Enterprise Development.
