With international passenger flights resumed, Dubai Summer Surprises 2020 is now within reach for Kenyan travellers. Emirates has announced that it is offering Kenyans the opportunity to travel to Dubai for the citywide mega festival.

Running until 29 August, Dubai Summer Surprises 2020 offers diverse sales, show-stopping performances, immersive experiences, and family-friendly celebrations at Dubai's malls, attractions, and leisure destinations. Over 4,000 outlets across Dubai are participating, offering up to 75% off on more than 1,000 brands.

Since 7 July, Dubai has been open for business and leisure visitors with new air travel protocols that safeguard the health and safety of visitors and communities. However, travel restrictions remain in place, and travellers will only be accepted on flights if they comply with the eligibility and entry criteria requirements of their destination countries.

Emirates has revised its booking policies to offer customers more flexibility and confidence to plan their travel. Customers whose travel plans are disrupted by COVID-19 related flight or travel restrictions can hold on to their ticket, which will be valid for 24 months, and rebook to fly at a later time or request travel vouchers to offset against future Emirates purchases.

Emirates has implemented a comprehensive set of measures to ensure the safety of its customers and employees, including the distribution of complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and antibacterial wipes to all customers.
