FKF Electoral Board Publishes Voter Register for National and County Elections

Published on August 18, 2020, the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Electoral Board has released the list of clubs eligible to vote in the upcoming national and county elections.

The Electoral Board, chaired by Kentice Tikolo, has given clubs a chance to dispute or complain about the voter register by August 18. To do so, clubs must provide league standings for all years participated in FKF leagues, player cards for all players and seasons played, fixtures for the number of seasons played, and affiliation letters from relevant FKF branches and/or proof of affiliation to FKF, including proof of any payments made as affiliation fees.

Clubs can also appeal the board's decision to the Appeals Committee between August 19 and 21 if they are not satisfied.

According to the voter register, 17 delegates from the Kenya Premier League (KPL), 10 from the National Super League (NSL), 10 from Division one clubs, three from Women's Premier League (WPL) clubs, and one from Women's Division One club are eligible to vote in the national elections.

Representatives from 45 counties will be appointed after the county elections scheduled for September 19, with the national elections set for October 17.

The final list of eligible clubs at both levels will be published on August 22, 2020.
