On August 15, 2020, Andrew Kibe, a former Kiss FM presenter, shared a deeply personal story on his podcast, revealing that he was molested as a child.

During a candid conversation with artists Benzema and Murasta, Kibe opened up about the traumatic experience, which he had kept hidden for years.

He explained that he had never spoken about the incident, which occurred when he was in pre-school, until he had a locker room conversation with two friends at the gym. All three of them had been molested as children, and this conversation sparked Kibe to share his story publicly.

According to Kibe, the molestation took place in Ngara, Nairobi, where he lived in apartments with his family. He accused a well-known and influential man in the area of forcing children as young as 4 and 5 years old to perform oral sex on him.

Years later, when Kibe was 18 years old, he encountered his abuser again at a government office. His mother had taken him there to meet someone who could help him land a job, but the person turned out to be his abuser.

As Kibe recounted the story, he expressed his frustration with society's tendency to protect rapists and abusers. His guests on the show, Murasta and Benzema, also shared their own emotional stories of rape and false accusations.

Murasta revealed that she was raped in 2019, while Benzema claimed he was falsely accused of rape in 2018. The two artists recently released a song titled 'Paka Permit,' which narrates their experiences.
