This archive report was first published on 14 August 2020.

Pre-order for Samsung's latest flagship devices – the NOTE 20 and the NOTE 20 Ultra – are now live in Kenya. The pre-order period runs from August 14th to August 28th. Customers stand to get free items (gift hampers) should they successfully pre-order the new smartphones.

The recommended retail prices of the NOTE 20 and the NOTE 20 Ultra are KES. 107,000 and KES. 137,000 respectively, for the 256GB models. Pre-order customers will receive a gift hamper, with Galaxy Note 20 Ultra pre-orders getting the all-new Buds Live valued at KES. 20,199 and Galaxy Note 20 pre-orders getting Buds+ valued at KES. 16,999.

To pre-order, customers can follow these steps: decide which device they want, click on a link to see the stores from where they can place a pre-order, choose a store near them, call their number to place an order, make a payment of at least 10% of the device they're buying, and remember the price of devices may vary from store to store.

Pre-order customers will have the option of cancelling their pre-order before August 28th, 2020, when pre-orders close. Collection of devices will start from August 29th, 2020, and collection of pre-order gifts/benefits will be through authorised stores listed on the Samsung website.

It's worth noting that the number of devices available for purchase is limited, and as such, placing a pre-order is not a guarantee that you will be successful in getting the gifts, whether or not full payment has been made. It's a first-come-first-serve type of situation.
