On August 14, 2020, Infinix announced the Smart 5, a new smartphone series that replaces the Smart 4 and Smart 4 Plus. The Smart 5 series will feature multiple models with varying specifications.
The Smart 5 series will include models with 2GB and 3GB of RAM, running on Android 10 Go edition. Storage options will range from 32GB to 64GB, with some models supporting up to 128GB or 256GB of expandable storage via microSD card.
Interestingly, some models in the series will not support 4G networks, which is unusual for a phone in 2020. The Smart 5 series will be available in various colors, including Midnight Black, Aqua Blue, Cosmic Purple, and Bordeaux Red.
