Kenyan singer Akothee has broken her silence on rumors surrounding her relationship with her younger sister Cebbie Koks, after private messages between Cebbie and her ex-boyfriend were shared online.
According to reports, the screenshots of the messages went viral, with Cebbie initially denying any issues between the two sisters.
However, Akothee has now taken to social media to share her thoughts on sisterhood, emphasizing the importance of treating one's siblings with love and respect.
'Treat them the same way you would treat your own mother, there is nothing like sibling rivalry, it's a cover-up for jealousy, never try to compete with someone who is older than you,' she wrote.
Akothee went on to advise her fans to lift each other up and respect their siblings, adding that families must create boundaries and prioritize their own well-being.
'If your elder sibling goes broke because of educating all of you, then it's your time to build them,' she said.
She also emphasized the importance of giving back to those who have helped you grow, and not just taking from them.
'Givers should be careful because takers have no boundaries nor shame,' Akothee warned.
