On a rare break from his rigorous training schedule, Olympic marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge spent Saturday watching the Great Annual Wildebeest Migration at the Maasai Mara game reserve in Kenya.

Accompanied by his wife and children, Kipchoge joined a group of high-profile guests, including Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala, Narok county governor Samuel Tunai, and Kenya Wildlife Services director John Waweru, to witness the spectacular natural phenomenon.

Originally scheduled to defend his title at the Tokyo Games, Kipchoge instead opted to watch the Wildebeest Migration, a testament to the country's rich biodiversity and natural beauty.

As part of his engagement with the Kenya Tourism Board (KTB), Kipchoge is expected to sign on as a Magical Kenya destination ambassador, promoting the country as a preferred tourism destination both locally, regionally, and internationally.

Launched in July 2020, the engagement aims to leverage Kipchoge's global influence to showcase Kenya's unique attractions and experiences to a wider audience.
