On a night that saw controversy and drama, Juventus fell to Lyon in the Champions League, despite a masterclass performance from Cristiano Ronaldo.
The match, played on August 7, 2020, at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Italy, saw both teams convert contentious penalties in the first half, with Lyon's Depay and Juventus' Ronaldo scoring.
However, it was not enough for Juventus, as Lyon clung on for a 2-2 aggregate draw, sending them to the quarter-finals on away goals.
The defeat left Juventus coach Maurizio Sarri in an uncomfortable position, as the Champions League title eluded the Turin side for another season.
Despite winning Serie A for nine consecutive seasons, Juventus have not been able to get their hands on the Champions League trophy since 1996.
