The parents association swiftly protested the move, labeling it 'illegal' and an attempt to undermine a pending court petition.

Parents had initially moved to court in April over what they deemed exorbitant charges for online learning, with the school demanding upwards of Sh700,000 a term.
The case remains pending in court, with the school's director, Mr. John O'Connor, dismissing the parents' demands for a reduction in school fees in a letter dated April 20.
Mr. O'Connor stated, 'While the school may not agree with some of the comments made in your letter, we move forward with a positive commitment to our whole school community in a spirit of mutual respect.'
However, the parents are not convinced, with one official stating that parents had misunderstood the request.
