Uhuru Announces Leadership Changes in State Agencies Boards

On August 7, 2020, President Uhuru Kenyatta made significant changes to the leadership of various State agencies boards.

According to a Gazette Notice, John Ngumi, the current Chair of Kenya Pipeline, will take over as the Chair of the Industrial and Commercial Development Corporation (ICDC) board until May 2022, replacing Bernard Muteti.

Additionally, President Kenyatta appointed Rita Okuthe as the Chair of Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) and Nicholas Salat as the Chair of the Agricultural Development Corporation (ADC) board.

Halakhe Waqo, the former CEO of the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC), will chair the Universities Fund Board for a period of three years.
