Breastfeeding: A Journey of Self-Discovery

For many new mothers, breastfeeding can be a daunting experience, filled with fears and uncertainties. Actress Sarah Hassan is no exception. In a candid interview, she opens up about her long and traumatic experience breastfeeding her young son.

Welcoming her first child in 2019, Sarah Hassan was eager to breastfeed, but her initial enthusiasm was short-lived. She admits that she grew cold feet after hearing testimonies from fellow mothers, fearing that her milk supply would be insufficient or that she would struggle to feed her baby in public.

Despite her fears, Sarah Hassan persevered, and with time, she was able to exclusively feed her baby boy on breast milk for over a year. In a heartwarming post, she shares her gratitude for the experience, acknowledging that it was not easy but ultimately rewarding.

"I've been lucky enough to have exclusively breastfed my little one for over a year now but one thing I was super scared about was not having enough milk or my milk drying out! Even though I had enough supply, I was still paranoid and it never hurts to just be prepared," she writes.

Through her journey, Sarah Hassan learned valuable lessons about self-care, perseverance, and the importance of seeking support. Her story serves as a reminder that breastfeeding is a journey, not a destination, and that every mother's experience is unique.
