Published on August 7, 2020, Tanzanian gospel singer Christina Shusho has shared her thoughts on what makes a successful marriage.
According to Shusho, most women prefer having a partner who protects and cares for them, much like their father did.
Speaking on her YouTube channel, Shusho emphasized the importance of a man transitioning into a father-figure role after marriage, saying that this can help close the gap created when a woman leaves her father's home.
“Close the gap created when she leaves her father’s house. Become the father figure she is missing and love her without holding back,” Shusho said.
Shusho, known for her hit song 'Unikumbuke', also attributed troubles in many marriages to a lack of knowledge from the man's part.
Interestingly, Shusho herself has experienced a tumultuous marriage, having left her husband's church and eventually separating from her husband after claiming God gave her an assignment.
