Media personality Jacque Maribe is back on our screens with her new show, The Hot Seat, a journey that promises to take viewers through her turbulent life over the past year.
As seen in the promo video, Maribe fights back tears as she narrates her experiences, a testament to the emotional rollercoaster she has been through.
Maribe's life came to a standstill after she was arrested and charged alongside her then-fiance, Joseph 'Jowie' Irungu, for the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani.
Speaking about her ordeal, Maribe said, 'You feel like everything is falling into place and everything makes so much sense until one day you have no idea what the world just decides to do, like literally, a standstill.'
She added that her career and aspirations vanished into thin air, leaving her with a deep sense of loss.
However, Maribe chose to rise above the challenges, saying, 'But instead of allowing yourself to be down, you know what you do? Get back up and you take it by the horns.'
Maribe invites her fans to join her on this journey, saying, 'Embark on this journey with me on The Hot Seat.'
Look out for the show this Sunday at 8 pm.
