On August 10, 2020, the 2020/21 transfer window will officially open for teams participating in the Kenya Premier League, now known as the BetKing Premier League (BPL).
According to a circular sent to all club chairmen, Football Kenya Federation stated that the same transfer window for teams in the Betika Super League (BSL) will kick off on August 17, 2020.
The transfer window will run for 12 weeks, closing on November 2, 2020, for the BPL and November 9, 2020, for the BSL.
It's worth noting that the Fifa window for international transfers will end on November 2, 2020.
Football Kenya Federation also promised to release the new dates and fixtures for the league's kick-off.
As the five-year term of the Kenyan Premier League ends in September 2020, Football Kenya Federation will take over the management and running of the top-tier competition.
The fate of this season remains uncertain, as it was stopped after 22 rounds of matches due to the coronavirus pandemic.
