On July 2019, Savion Hall, an inmate at the Midland County Jail in Texas, tragically lost his life. An investigation into his death has led to the arrest and indictment of six individuals, including a Kenyan nurse, Lilian Okeri.

According to court documents, the six accused individuals - Okeri, Adeola Adesomi, Flor Estrada, Timothy Forbush, Kelly Robins, and Esther Ihediwa - are being charged with manslaughter, criminal negligent homicide, and tampering with government records.

The charges stem from allegations that the accused individuals failed to maintain proper and adequate records for Hall, resulting in him not receiving the necessary medical care. Furthermore, they are accused of making false entries on Hall's medical records.

As reported by CBS 7, the second charge states that by failing to keep medical records, Hall did not receive the 'proper medical care.'

Following a lengthy investigation by the Texas Rangers, the case was presented to the Midland County District Attorney's Office. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the State could not present the case to a Grand Jury until this summer.
