On August 6, 2020, Jeff Koinange, a prominent Kenyan TV presenter, shared his relief after testing negative for Covid-19 twice.
Initially, Koinange had tested positive for the virus last month and had been in isolation for 14 days.
He took two tests, which turned out negative, and expressed gratitude to his fans for their prayers and support.
‘Folks…Day 17 in isolation and I just got my 2nd test results…NEGATIVE…I have BEATEN this MONSTER! And YOU can too! Thank you for ALL your Prayers, Kind Words and Good Wishes! TOGETHER can win this WAR against #COVID19 God Bless!’ he posted on his social media accounts.
Jeff Koinange is not the only prominent Kenyan who has beaten Covid-19 after testing positive. Others include Citizen TV's Steven Letoo, KBC presenter Bonnie Musambi, and stylish pastor Robert Burale.
