Jeff Koinange, a renowned journalist and Citizen TV news anchor, has emerged victorious in his battle against COVID-19.
On August 6, 2020, Koinange announced his recovery on social media after receiving his second test results, which came back negative.
"Folks…Day 17 in isolation and I just got my 2nd test results…NEGATIVE…I have BEATEN this MONSTER! And YOU can too! Thank you for ALL your Prayers, Kind Words and Good Wishes! TOGETHER can win this WAR against COVID-19," he tweeted.
Initially, Koinange had tested positive for COVID-19 on July 20, 2020, but remained asymptomatic and continued working on Citizen TV and Hot 96 radio.
"Folks, just to let you know, I have tested POSITIVE for Covid-19. I’m doing Good..NO symptoms…and my Family is fine," he tweeted at the time.
Despite his diagnosis, Koinange remained active and attended to all his professional assignments, receiving support from Royal Media Services Management.
He expressed gratitude to his fans for their prayers, kind words, and good wishes, acknowledging that together, they can win the war against COVID-19.
