On August 5, 2020, Senator Priscilla Zawadi Kitsao was involved in a grisly accident while traveling along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway.
According to Makueni county commander Joseph ole Naipeiyan, Kitsao's vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with an oncoming vehicle at the Malili area of the highway.
The incident occurred at around 5 pm as Kitsao was headed to Mombasa.
She was admitted to Machakos level 5 hospital in a stable condition following the accident.
