Samsung Galaxy NOTE 20: A Mid-Range Upgrade in Kenya ¶
Launched on August 14th, the Samsung Galaxy NOTE 20 is a mid-range smartphone that has been priced at KES. 107,000 in Kenya. The device is seen as a replacement for the NOTE 10 Lite, with a plastic finish, 1080p max display resolution, and a lack of a high refresh rate panel.
The Galaxy NOTE 20 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor in America and Canada, and a Samsung Exynos 990 processor globally. The device also features an Adreno 650 GPU in America and Canada, and a Mali-G77 MP11 GPU globally.
For storage, the Galaxy NOTE 20 comes with 128GB internal storage in America and Canada, and 256GB internal storage globally. It does not support MicroSD card expansion. The device also features 8GB LPDDR5 RAM.
The Galaxy NOTE 20 has a quad-camera setup, featuring a 12MP 2PD OIS wide-angle lens, a 64MP telephoto lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP front camera. It also features an in-display ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor and IP68 certification for durability.
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, 4G, Samsung DeX wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB 3.2. The device is available in Mystic Gray, Mystic Green, and Mystic Bronze colors.
