On August 5, 2020, Samsung held its first-ever virtual Unpacked event, unveiling a range of new devices, including the Galaxy Note 20, Tab S7, Galaxy Buds Live, and Galaxy Watch 3.

The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra were the main attractions of the event, with the Ultra variant offering improved performance, more productivity features, and a new S Pen with enhanced precision and responsiveness.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7 Plus were also announced, featuring high refresh rates, Super AMOLED and LCD displays, and under-display fingerprint sensors. The Tab S7 is pitched as the first 5G tablet, offering users the ability to make and receive video calls anywhere.

The Galaxy Buds Live were unveiled, featuring larger drivers and active noise cancellation. They will be available for free with pre-orders of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra or can be purchased standalone for Kshs 15,000.

The Galaxy Watch 3 was also announced, featuring a rotating bezel, blood oxygen level detection, blood pressure readings, and ECG readings. However, regulatory approval is required for the medical features, which may delay their availability in Kenya.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 was also announced, but its availability and pricing in Kenya are still unknown.
