On a fateful night in August 2020, a woman's life took a dramatic turn when she discovered her husband's infidelity.
According to her, the couple had been growing apart since her husband's promotion at work, which led to frequent travel and long periods of separation.
Despite her husband's efforts to bridge the physical and emotional distance, she felt abandoned and hurt, and her resentment grew.
One night, while closing her husband's laptop, she stumbled upon a message that changed everything - a message from a woman he was getting engaged to.
Instead of confronting him, she decided to take revenge. She contacted a real estate agent and sold their beautiful home, which had an infinity pool and a massive deck overlooking the city, for well under market value.
The young couple who bought the house couldn't believe the deal they got. After the sale, she continued to email her husband as normal, setting up a separate bank account to put half of the proceeds in, before the other half landed in their joint bank account six weeks later.
She was on a cruise with her girlfriends when her husband arrived home to find strangers living in his house. 'He has since moved to Canada to be with his girlfriend full-time,' she wrote. 'He hasn’t contacted me to ask about a divorce yet. I say bring it on.'
