On August 5, 2020, Stivo Simple Boy, a talented Kenyan musician, made headlines after sharing his inspiring story with Jalang'o. The humble artist, who didn't attend secondary school, worked in construction sites to make ends meet before his breakthrough.

Stivo's music career took off after the release of his hit song 'Mihadharati' and an interview with Chipukeezy. He has since become a favorite among Kenyans, known for his sensible music that talks about problems affecting society.

During the interview, Stivo revealed that his highest paycheck was Sh50,000, which he earned after performing at a Freshers' night at Kenyatta University last year. He decided to use the money to drill a borehole for his parents, who live in a remote village in Oyugis, Homabay county.

Stivo's parents initially didn't support his music career, thinking it was witchcraft. However, they are now his biggest supporters, and he credits them for his success.

Reactions to Stivo's interview have been overwhelmingly positive, with many Kenyans praising his humility and generosity. As one fan put it, 'This guy is so simple & down to earth, guys kindly support him.'
