On August 5, 2020, a couple's wedding day in Detroit, Michigan, took an unexpected turn when a woman appeared and claimed to be pregnant with the groom's child.
The ceremony was being held outdoors, with the bride and groom standing beneath an ornate arch surrounded by their wedding party. The marriage officiant was reading their vows when the woman suddenly appeared from behind and started shouting at the groom.
According to the video captured by a guest and shared on TikTok, the woman said, "Anthony! You pretend you didn't know me? Didn't get your psych med today?" The pastor ignored her and continued to read the vows, but the guests were visibly shocked and audibly gasped at the interruption.
The woman continued to shout, claiming she was pregnant with the groom's child and demanding that he acknowledge her. A member of the wedding party, who appeared to be the bride's daughter, eventually came forward and threw her flowers at the woman, shouting, "You better get out of my mama's wedding."
As the situation escalated, another member of the party tried to calm the bride's daughter down, but she was determined to confront the woman. The video has since been viewed over 9.9 million times on TikTok, with many users commenting on the dramatic interruption and asking for a part two.
