Integrated Payments Service Limited (IPSL), the company behind Pesalink, has strengthened its board with the appointment of four new non-executive directors. The move comes as the company faces numerous copyright law suits.
Effective 1st July, the four directors, Jack Ngare, Dr Shiko Gitau, Kevin Kinyanjui, and Moses Obonyo, joined the board, bringing a wealth of experience spanning 89 years in various levels of management and IT roles.
The directors will incorporate almost a decade of experience in technology, IT strategy, and law to the board. Their expertise will be invaluable in driving the company's growth and innovation.
Jack Ngare, the managing director of Microsoft's Africa Development Center, has over 15 years of experience in business and has worked in telecommunication, financial services, information security, and emerging technology.
Dr Shiko Gitau, the CEO of Qhala, brings over ten years of experience in research and design of digital technologies. She is a member of the COVID-19 Advisory and the Data Analytics Modelling committee, which advises the Kenyan government on tech and data-based solutions.
Kevin Kinyanjui, the founder and CEO of Duo Tech, has over 34 years of experience in information technology. He has held director positions in Kenya Airways and Housing Finance and has led Lafarge East Africa's end-user computing as the Group IS Manager and CIO.
Moses Obonyo, the current chairman of Old Mutual Assurance Company, has over 30 years of practice in law and is well-versed in matters finance. He is a non-executive director at Ghana Reinsurance Kenya Limited, Institute of Directors, and Metropol TV.
With their combined experience, the new directors will undoubtedly inject a fresh perspective and expertise into the board, driving Pesalink's growth and innovation.
