Comedian Njugush has been a pillar of support for actor Abel Mutua and his family for two years, a gesture that Abel credits to a good deed he did for Njugush when he was new in the industry.
Abel made the revelation in his latest episode of the Celeb First Encounter YouTube show, where he shared how Njugush's life has been a testament to his humble nature.
Abel helped Njugush secure his first audition opportunity in 2013, which marked the beginning of a successful career for the comedian.
He then gave Njugush a role in the popular 'Real Househelps of Kawangware' show, which catapulted him to stardom.
"When he joined the show, even our reviews became better and people noticed us," Abel said, highlighting the impact Njugush had on the show.
Njugush's big break came in 2017, when he landed a lucrative deal, and Abel was the first person he called to share the news.
"He told me that a client had just offered him a million-plus for a two-month contract," Abel recalled, adding that Njugush was already earning an average of Sh200,000 a month at the time.
Today, Njugush is a successful comedian, and Abel's wife, Judy Nyawira, works as his finance manager, earning more than Abel through her work with Njugush.
Abel jokingly expressed his amazement at how things have worked out, saying, "Basically, Njugush has been feeding me and my family for over two years now. I am still amazed at just how things work out,"
