Maureen Waititu, a popular media personality and YouTuber, has been featured on the cover of True Love magazine this month. In an interview with the publication, she discussed her failed relationship with Frankie Kiarie, the father of her children, as well as her experiences with co-parenting and body positivity.
Published on August 5, 2020, the interview revealed some shocking details about her relationship with Frankie. According to Maureen, she found out about Frankie's other child, Corazon Kwamboka's pregnancy, at the same time as everyone else. She expressed her disappointment that Frankie had not informed her about the pregnancy, saying, 'I was thinking he could have told me. Given me a heads up. We had been talking a day before and for a whole four hours I was talking about rooting for him to be a better man and sat there and never told me she [Corazon Kwamboka] was pregnant, The least he could have done was to tell me he had another child on the way.'
Maureen also shared her struggles with depression after the breakup. She revealed that she had contemplated suicide twice and even planned to take her own life by waiting along Waiyaki Way for a truck to hit her. However, she was able to overcome these thoughts when she remembered the faces of her children and the love they have for her.
