Popstar Ariana Grande's life story is set to be immortalized on the big screen, with a film about her 2019 Sweetener tour reportedly sparking a Sh570 million (£4 million) bidding war.
According to sources, Netflix is leading the charge to secure the rights to the film, which will follow Grande's 97-date tour that saw her perform in front of 1.3 million people.
Grande, 27, hinted at the film's existence last week, stating that a project was in the works about her Sweetener tour.
"Ariana's team are negotiating a huge deal between a number of big hitters, with Netflix and YouTube both showing interest," an insider told The Sun. "Netflix has put forward a starting offer of £4million to get the rights."
The film will reportedly be a brutally honest and raw depiction of life on the road, but will also include happier moments.
Grande's life has been marked by tragedy, including the Manchester bombings at her concert in May 2017 and the untimely death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller in September 2018.
