On the day my firstborn passed his KCSE examinations, I was overjoyed, and the government even offered him a slot at a college to pursue pharmacy. However, my joy was short-lived as I struggled to come to terms with the fact that I couldn't afford his college fees as a single mother.
My sister, being the wise one, suggested that I organize a fund-raiser to raise the necessary funds. However, I knew that getting people to attend such events in my locality was a daunting task, and often, people ended up losing money instead of raising it.
That's when my sister introduced me to Doctor Mugwenu, a traditional herbalist who claimed to have the power to make our invited guests attend the event and contribute generously. He cast a luck and money spell for us, which seemed like a long shot, but I was desperate.
On the day of the fundraiser, I was amazed to see over 1,000 guests in attendance, all of whom contributed generously, raising over KSh 1 million. The icing on the cake was when the MP showed up, despite us only inviting him over the phone. My son even received sponsors for his college education, and I am eternally grateful to Doctor Mugwenu.
