On August 5, 2020, the Brooklyn Nets pulled off a stunning upset, defeating the Milwaukee Bucks 119-116 in a thrilling match that delayed the Bucks' top spot coronation in the Eastern Conference.

The Nets' victory was led by Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, who scored a career-high 26 points, including two crucial three-pointers in the closing stages of the game.

The Bucks, who were seeking to seal first place in the East, were dealt a second consecutive loss, following their defeat by the Houston Rockets in Orlando on Sunday.

Despite being injury-depleted, the Nets remain on track to clinch the eighth and final playoff place from the Eastern Conference.

The Bucks will get another chance to lock up top spot against the Miami Heat on Thursday, but for now, their coronation will have to wait.
