Published on August 5, 2020, the Doha Diamond League meeting has been brought forward by two weeks, with the event now set to take place on September 25.

The decision was made by organisers due to the ongoing global health situation and ever-changing COVID-19 regulations.

Originally scheduled for April 17, the event was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The competitive season is set to begin in Monaco on August 14, followed by meetings in Stockholm, Lausanne, Brussels, Rome/Naples, Doha, and a yet to be determined location in China.

However, Diamond League meetings in Eugene, London, Paris, Rabat, Gateshead, and Shanghai have been cancelled.
