Published on August 4, 2020, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has maintained a tight-lipped stance on the club's potential signing of Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho.

The 20-year-old England winger has been a subject of interest for the Old Trafford giants, who are willing to meet Dortmund's hefty asking price of over £100 million ($130 million).

Despite ongoing discussions, Solskjaer remained coy in his press conference ahead of Manchester United's Europa League tie against LASK, stating, 'This transfer window is a long one and every transfer takes its course. It is what it is.'

Meanwhile, Chris Smalling, who had hoped to feature in the Europa League with Roma, will return to Old Trafford after an extension to his season-long loan move was not reached. Solskjaer expressed his desire to have Smalling back, praising the defender's value to the team.

On the other hand, Alexis Sanchez has been given the green light to feature in the Europa League for Inter Milan, despite being a huge disappointment at Old Trafford. Discussions over a permanent exit are reportedly ongoing.
