Manchester United's pursuit of Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho has been ongoing, with the Old Trafford giants reportedly willing to meet the Bundesliga club's hefty asking price of over £100 million ($130 million).
However, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remained tight-lipped on the matter during a press conference ahead of the Europa League tie against LASK, saying, "This transfer window is a long one and every transfer takes its course. It is what it is."
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the deal, Solskjaer did express his desire to see Chris Smalling return to Old Trafford, stating, "I think Chris has shown over his career at Man United how valuable he is for Man United."
Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez has been given the green light to feature in the Europa League for Inter Milan, a move that has been seen as a potential permanent exit for the struggling forward.
