Chelsea's pursuit of Ben Chilwell has taken a significant turn, with the Leicester City defender reportedly valuing himself higher than Harry Maguire.
Maguire, who joined Manchester United last summer for £80 million, is currently the world's most expensive defender. However, Chilwell, who has 11 caps for England, is said to be worth even more to Leicester City.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen to add Chilwell to his squad, but the Foxes are unlikely to sell their star player for anything less than a world-record fee.
Chilwell, who has been at Leicester since the age of 12, is keen to join Chelsea, where he sees his long-term future. His decision is not just based on Leicester's failure to qualify for the Champions League, but also on his desire to nail down the England left-back spot for the next five to six years.
