On his Celeb First Encounter YouTube show, Abel Mutua shared a heartwarming story of how comedian Timothy Kimani, alias Njugush, has been taking care of him and his family for two years.
According to Mutua, his helping hand in 2013 led to Njugush's first audition opportunity, which ultimately changed the comedian's life.
Describing Njugush as a humble man, Mutua said that giving him a role in the 'Real Househelps of Kawangware' show was a game-changer. 'When he joined the show, even our reviews became better and people noticed us,' he said.
After gaining popularity, Njugush ventured into online comedy and eventually landed a lucrative deal in 2017. Mutua revealed that he was the first person Njugush called to share the news of his big break.
As Njugush's career flourished, he hired Mutua's wife, Judy Nyawira, as his finance manager. Mutua proudly shared that his wife is now earning more than he is through her salary from Njugush.
Abel Mutua expressed his gratitude towards Njugush, saying, 'Basically, Njugush has been feeding me and my family for over two years now. I am still amazed at just how things work out.'
