Secret Wedding Plans Exposed ¶
According to sources close to the matter, Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz is planning to wed a Rwandan woman from a wealthy family. The plans, which have been in the works for at least six months, are reportedly being finalized with the help of former Dar es Salaam regional commander Paul Makonda.
Mr. Makonda, who was present at Diamond's sister Esma Platnumz's wedding over the weekend, revealed that the dowry negotiations are ongoing and that the family has opted for a beauty from the royal family to be Diamond's better half.
"Mama (Mama Dangote) has paid the dowry and it's not an easy task, but I assure you that by August, we will finalize the dowry payments and bring the Rwandan rich kid home to Tanzania," Mr. Makonda said.
Meanwhile, the Wasafi Events and Diamond Lifestyle Manager, Hellen Kazimoto, is overseeing the wedding plans. The target month for finalizing the dowry payments is August, with the wedding expected to take place soon after.
It's worth noting that Diamond Platnumz has been insistent on getting married before the year lapses, and it seems that his plans are finally coming to fruition.
