According to Akothee, she unfollowed Zari and others due to their fake friendships and lack of support. In a lengthy post, Akothee expressed her frustration with individuals who only reach out when it's convenient or to gain relevance.
'Some of them I would defend with my uterus when they are attacked, but they will not come to my rescue when it's my turn,' Akothee wrote. 'They will coil their tail and come back when the storm is calm, but I understand, maybe they fear bloggers or they have underlying issues.'
Akothee also addressed those who only share her funny videos to gain likes and comments, but fail to share her work. She emphasized the importance of being true to oneself and unfollowing those who play fake social media games.
It's worth noting that Akothee and Zari were planning to hold a women's conference in Kenya in August last year, but postponed it. The two women's friendship has been a subject of speculation, with some rumors suggesting they are no longer close.
