Devolution Ministry Operations Halted Due to Covid-19 Outbreak

Devolution Ministry operations have been severely impacted by a Covid-19 outbreak, with 18 employees testing positive for the virus.

On August 3, 2020, the Principal Secretary at the State Department for Devolution, Charles Sunkuli, issued an internal memo instructing all staff to self-isolate for 14 days.

According to the memo, all staff are required to self-isolate from August 3 to August 16, 2020, before reporting back on August 17, 2020, for another round of mass testing.

"The officers will be required to report back on August 17, 2020, for another round of mass testing," Mr Sunkuli stated in the internal memo.
