On August 3, 2020, Bishop Godfrey Migwi, a prominent City preacher, issued a stern warning to popular musicians Khaligraph Jones and Bahati.

According to a post on his official Facebook page, Bishop Migwi condemned the practice of secular artists wearing clergy clothing in their music videos, labeling it the 'highest level of insult' to the body of Christ.

He specifically targeted Khaligraph Jones and Bahati, warning them that their actions would attract curses upon themselves and their generations.

“I break the silence. The proverbial elephant in the room is not welcome in the body of Christ. Using clergy clothing for entertainment, especially for secular songs and personal gain, is totally wrong and it's time for change,” Bishop Migwi said.

He emphasized that wearing bishop gowns is wrong and urged the musicians to repent and break the curses they have attracted.
